Terms and Conditions

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the Melon Post service (the "Service"). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

1. Who we are

2. The Service

Melon Post lets you create personalized physical postcards via WhatsApp by sending text and/or images. We generate a preview, collect payment, and arrange printing and delivery via third-party partners.

3. Creating an order

  • You are responsible for providing accurate content and recipient details (name and address).
  • You must review and approve the preview before paying. After payment, changes may no longer be possible.

4. Pricing and payment

  • Prices are shown at checkout and may vary by currency, destination, taxes, and partner costs.
  • Payments are processed by Stripe. We do not store full card details.
  • If a payment link expires or fails, we may provide a new payment link.

5. Production, shipping, and delivery

  • Production and shipping are handled by third-party fulfillment and carrier partners.
  • Delivery timeframes are estimates and not guaranteed.
  • Address validation may improve deliverability, but we cannot guarantee delivery.

6. Cancellations, returns, and right of withdrawal (EU)

Personalized goods: your postcard is made to your specifications. For this reason, returns are not accepted and the EU right of withdrawal generally does not apply to goods that are clearly personalized, once production has started.

Cancelling before production: if you contact us quickly after payment, we may be able to cancel your order if production has not started yet. If cancellation is possible, we will confirm this and explain any refund.

Damage/defects: if your postcard arrives damaged, defective, or with a printing error, contact us at thevelop@gmail.com within 14 days of delivery and include your order reference and clear photos. If confirmed, we will reprint and resend your postcard. If a reprint is not possible or not reasonable, we will refund you.

7. Your content (images and text)

  • You confirm you have the rights and permissions to use any images/text you submit.
  • You must not submit unlawful, infringing, hateful, or otherwise prohibited content.
  • We may refuse, suspend, or cancel orders that violate these rules or our partners' policies.

8. AI features

We may use AI to understand your requests and, if you ask for it, to generate or edit images. AI outputs may be imperfect. You are responsible for approving the final preview before payment.

9. Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages, or delays/failures caused by third parties (messaging providers, payment processors, fulfillment partners, carriers) or events beyond our control.

10. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of The Netherlands. The competent courts in The Netherlands have jurisdiction, unless mandatory consumer law provides otherwise.
